The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the University Student Union on the east side of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
Among the companies taking part are Blue Cross of California, the California Highway Patrol, the Central Intelligence Agency, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. of Southern California, GTE Government Systems, KTLA-TV, Starbucks Coffee and Wells Fargo Bank.
Participants should arrive early to sign up for interviews with selected employers. Interviews will be held on campus from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Other interested employers will arrange interviews at a later date.
The event is being sponsored by the CSUN Career Center, which also will hold seminars on "Making Job Fairs Work" and workshops on resume writing and interviewing techniques on Oct. 14-17.
