The gift, the second in two years, was made in memory of CSPE members who have died.
"We appreciate the generosity of the chapter," said Dorothy Miller, the college's interim dean. "The money comes in handy for many of our students."
Last year's gift was turned into a scholarship for an engineering student facing economic hardship. The money allowed him to complete his degree.
