The free workshop is scheduled for 8 p.m. in the university's Performing Arts Center on the east side of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
The workshop will examine the role Chicano theater has played in the Latino culture.
The workshop will be followed Thursday, Oct. 16, with the first of three performances by the troupe of an anthology of their work.
Culture Clash has received critical acclaim across the country for its uncompromising political satire and insights into Latino culture. The troupe's appearance inaugurates CSUN's new Latino Arts Collaborative, which will present a series of Latino artists throughout the year.
Performances are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Oct. 16, 17, and 18 in the Performing Arts Center. Appearing with the troupe will be the theater group "Chusma."
Following the Oct. 17 show will be a free performance by the hip hop group "Aztlan Underground" and visual artists "Mal Ojo" in the University Student Union Pub.
Tickets for "Culture Clash Anthology" are $15 for general admission, $12 for faculty and staff, and $10 for students, senior citizens and children.
Tickets are available through CSUN's A.S. Ticket Office at (818) 677-2488, or through TicketMaster.
