The Cal State Northridge Career Center and the Los Angeles Times will be hosting a "Career Conference For Women" on Saturday, March 21.
The conference aims to inspire women through a series of workshops on topics ranging from changing careers to pursuing entrepreneurship.
Workshops include: "Finding Balance and Handling Stress" with Erin Gray, a nationally certified career counselor; "Starting Your Own Business," with Kimberly Stansell, entrepreneurial author, trainer and founder of Research Done Write, and "Juggling Career and Family," with Leslie Godwin, owner of Parent Support Services.
The seminar ends with a workshop on setting goals led by trained career counselors from CSUN, the JVS Career Counselors and the Los Angeles Times.
The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Universal Hilton, located at 555 Terrace Parkway, in Universal City.
Admission is $65 and includes breakfast, lunch, session workshops and free self-parking.
