In addition, the campus will not accept new lower division transfers for the Fall term.
CSUN Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Louanne Kennedy said that due to continued high enrollments, the campus cannot accommodate freshmen applicants beyond the initial filing period of November, nor can it serve new lower division transfer students in Fall 1998.
"Our first commitment must be to provide our current and continuing students with high-quality and adequate course offerings," Kennedy said.
However, in keeping with California's Master Plan for Higher Education, the campus will remain open to qualified upper division transfer and graduate applicants beyond Nov. 30 until the targeted number of applicants has been reached.
