CSUN's Goodwill Drive Starts Nov. 30

As you make room for "new" things this holiday season, "recycle" the old item. Cal State Northridge's University Recycling Program will collect items for its annual Goodwill Holiday Donation Drive Nov. 30 through Dec. 15.

The donation drive will give the university and its community the opportunity to recycle household items, and put them to reuse with the Goodwill Industries Program.

The money generated by the drive will provide job training and vocational rehabilitation programs for the physically and developmentally disabled.

Two donation sites will be set up on campus. The main site will be at the northeast corner of Lindley Avenue and Lassen Street. It will be staffed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for those who need receipts for tax purposes. A second site will be set up in the Matador Bookstore in the center of the campus.

The drive is sponsored by Associates Students, Inc., and The University Corporation.
