F.T.D.S and 4DP were invited by the university's Interfraternity Council to play from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University Student Union Court of Community near the center of campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
IFC president Bradley Marsh said bands were invited to help educate students on upcoming political issues and encourage voter registration in time for the November election.
Political action groups including representatives from the Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian parties, and the various ballot initiatives, will staff tables during the show. The university's Emerging Leaders Club will register voters and the first 150 people to sign-up will get a free t-shirt. There will also be a free raffle for a bicycle and compact discs.
The concert is sponsored by the Interfraternity Council, the Union Program Council, Associated Students, and Cycle World. For more information, call (818)677-2393.
