Cal State Northridge Accepting Applications for Spring 2005
(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Sept. 8, 2004) -- Upper division transfer students interested in attending Cal State Northridge next spring still have time to get their applications in.
The new state budget has made it possible for university officials to consider applications from eligible students beyond the initial filing deadline of Sept. 1.
Students interested in attending Cal State Northridge in spring 2005 are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. They can do so online by visiting www.csumentor.edu.
Students are eligible for admission to CSUN if they:
- have completed, or will complete prior to enrollment, basic general education coursework in English composition, oral communication, critical thinking and college-level mathematics with a grade of "C" or better;
- have a grade point average of 2.0 or better (2.4 for non-California residents) in all transferable college units attempted;
- are in good standing at the college or university they attended (i.e., they are eligible to re-enroll); and
- have completed, or will complete prior to enrollment, 60 or more transferable units.
Interested students are encouraged to provide official transcripts and other related documents to the university's admissions office as soon as possible.
