CSUN Students to Deliver Holiday Cheer to Needy Children
What:
Cal State Northridge students will bring some holiday cheer to low-income children in the San Fernando Valley when they deliver new books and toys to three Head Start sites operated by the Latin American Civic Association.
With the support of CSUN President Jolene Koester, the Ambassadors hold an annual "Cuddle N' Read Drive" to raise money to buy books and toys at the end of the fall semester. The Head Start program targets pre-kindergarten children who are in need. For many of the children, the books are the first new ones they can call their own.
