CSUN Invites the Community's Lil' Fairies, Firefighters
to a Night of Safe Trick or Treating

(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Oct. 15, 2003) - Cal State Northridge invites the public for a spooktacular night of free family fun and frights at its University Park Apartments, on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.

"We want the children and the community to have a safe place to celebrate Halloween and to trick-or-treat," said graduating senior Brett Chin, the event's coordinator.

"CSUN Safe Trick-or-Treat" will feature candy, a two-level haunted house, candy, a carnival with various games and crafts, and of course more candy. Student volunteers dressed in costumes will supervise the activities and supply the children with treats, said Chin.

The event will take place outside Lupin Hall in the University Park Apartments, located at the north end of campus at 17950 Lassen Street off Zelzah Avenue in Northridge. It is sponsored by Associated Students, Union Program Council, Residence Halls Association and the Special Projects Committee.
