CSUN Real Estate Lecture to Examine Building, Safety Issues
(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Oct. 23, 2003) - The public is invited to explore zoning laws and building codes with Andrew Adelman, director of the Department of Building and Safety for the city of Los Angeles, on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Cal State Northridge.
Adelman is the keynote speaker for the second session of the 2003 Real Estate Lecture Series, presented by Northridge's Center for Real Estate and the Los Angeles Chapter of Lambda Alpha International (LAI), the honorary land economics society.
The lecture begins at 7 p.m. in the Grand Salon of the University Student Union on the east side of the campus off Zelzah Street.
Adelman will discuss zoning, building codes and other local and state laws for the construction and maintenance of commercial, industrial and residential buildings in Los Angeles.
