Graduate Students, Credential Candidates
Have Until Oct. 15 to Apply to Northridge

(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Oct. 6, 2003) - Cal State Northridge is still accepting applications from graduate students and credential candidates for the spring 2004 semester.

Interested students should submit their applications as soon as possible. The deadline is Oct. 15. Applications are available by calling the university's Student Outreach and Recruitment Services at (818) 677-2967 or online at www.csumentor.edu.

The applications must be filed online by the close of the business day or, if mailed, postmarked not later than Oct. 15.

The university stopped accepting applications for the spring 2004 semester from all other students on Aug. 31.

California State University, Northridge has 33,000 full- and part-time students and offers 61 bachelor's and 42 master's degrees as well as 28 education credential programs. Founded in 1958, it is the only four-year university in the San Fernando Valley and the fourth largest in the 23-campus CSU system. The university serves as the intellectual, economic and cultural heart of the Valley and beyond.
