Tomorrow's Scientists to Explore Mysteries of a Cell
What:
Seventh graders from six local middle schools will spend
the afternoon exploring the mysteries of a cell using cooked noodles, children's play and a microscope as part of an innovative after-school program at Cal State Northridge designed to increase the youngsters' interest in science.
The middle schoolers taking part in the "Tomorrow's Scientists" program work alongside CSUN freshmen and sophomores conducting experiments, doing interactive projects and taking short field trips to the campus' botanic gardens and planetarium.
