CHIME Charter School Students Respond to
Secretary of Education's Call for Pledge of Allegiance

What:

Dozens of CHIME Charter Elementary School students will be saying the Pledge of Allegiance in American Sign Language in response to the U.S. Secretary of Education's call that all public schools recite the pledge at 11 a.m. Friday. The charter school is a national model of inclusive education, serving both disabled and non-disabled children, as well as being a laboratory for preparing teachers and other educators from Cal State Northridge. The school is initially serving children in kindergarten through fourth grade.
