Third, Fourth Graders Become Geographers for a Day

What:

Approximately 20 third and fourth graders from Westland Elementary School in Los Angeles will visit Cal State Northridge's Geography Department and learn what it takes to map out the world.

The students will be using the university's computers to gather weather data and visit CSUN's renowned Map Library.

When: 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, Sept. 28

Who:

20 third and fourth graders from Westland Elementary School and Cal State Northridge faculty and students.
