CSUN to Celebrate Start of Construction
of New Adaptive Aquatic Therapy Center
What:
Cal State Northridge officials will celebrate the start of
construction on its new adaptive aquatic therapy center with a symbolic groundbreaking. The center is named for Abbott and Linda Brown, whose Ridgestone Foundation made a gift of $1.5 million to the university for its construction. The gift triggered the release of an additional $1 million in federal funds also intended for the center, which will be part of CSUN's Center of Achievement for the Physically Disabled.
