Cal State Northridge and Los Angeles Fire Department officials will introduce "LAFD Fit," an exercise and wellness program designed by CSUN faculty and students that specifically addresses the rigors of firefighting. The LAFD is implementing the program at all of its 104 stations.

Thursdayıs program will include exercise demonstrations and brief remarks by Fire Chief William Bamattre, CSUN President Jolene Koester, Fire Commission President David Fleming and Los Angeles City Councilmember Hal Bernson. Fifteen CSUN graduate students have been involved in developing the program.
