The exhibit, "Art Alert!", is the CSUN Art Gallery's fourth annual high school art invitational and features the work of 211 high school students representing 33 San Fernando Valley high schools.
The diverse media and styles featured in the exhibit include ceramics, paintings, drawings, sculptures, architectural models, fiber textiles, graphic arts, and one video presentation.
The Art Gallery is open Mondays and Thursdays from noon to 4 p.m. and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
California State University, Northridge has more than 28,000 full- and part-time students and offers 48 bachelor's and 39 master's degrees. Founded in 1958, it is the only four-year university in the San Fernando Valley.
