ATTORNEY APPOINTED PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVE AT CSUN

Janice Kamenir-Reznik, founding partner of the law firm Reznik-Reznik, was appointed last week to the Cal State Northridge North Campus-University Park Development Corporation board.

Kamenir-Reznik will represent the public on the 7-member panel as it oversees the development of CSUN's 65-acre North Campus property into an upscale retail center. Development is scheduled to begin next spring.

"The next several months will be extremely busy and an important period. I am sure that we will appreciate having her assistance in dealing with the multiple issues that we will face," said Bill Chatnam, executive secretary of the panel.

In addition to managing her firm's environmental law department, Kamenir-Reznik also serves as President of the California Women's Law Center and President of the University of California, Los Angeles Hillel Lay Board. She is past President of California Women's Lawyers, the largest women's bar organization in the world.

Kamenir-Reznik also serves on several community boards including the Los Angeles County Judicial Procedures Commission, the Los Angeles Hillel Council and the State Bar Legal Services Trust Fund.

Kamenir-Reznik received an undergraduate degree in psychology from UCLA and two Masters degrees prior to graduating from UCLA School of Law in 1982.
