NOW President Speaks on Politics of Hate

Patricia Ireland, president of the National Organization for Women, will speak about the politics of hate during an appearance at Cal State Northridge on Monday, March 18.

Ireland will speak at 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center of the University Student Union located near the center of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.

Ireland will also talk about grassroots organizing aimed at defeating the conservative agenda as well as a march NOW is planning in San Francisco on April 14.

Following her presentation, Ireland will take part in an organizing workshop at 9:30 p.m. in the Thousand Oaks Room of the University Student Union.
