Cal State Northridge is offering a two-hour seminar Tuesday, April 30, to help disabled and hearing-impaired people find jobs.

The seminar will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Pasadena Room of The Career Center in the University Student Union at the center of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.

The seminar will focus on overcoming the special obstacles the Deaf and disabled face as they prepare for careers.

The panelist will discuss their own career paths as well as offer advice on internships and work experience.

The seminar is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the university's Adult Resource and ReEntry Program and The Career Center.
