Sessions will begin on Saturday, Feb.10, and will be held in room 148A of the Engineering Building from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the university campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge
The course is designed for practicing engineers and students who want to review engineering fundamentals prior to taking the exam. Preparatory courses such as statistics, mechanics, dynamics, math, economics and electrical engineering will be covered.
Cal State Northridge professors Benjamin Mallard (Electrical and Computer Engineering), Gerald Davis (Civil, Industrial Engineering and Applied Mechanics), David Schwartz (Electrical and Computer Science Engineering) and Nazaret Dermendjian (Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics) will teach sections of their expertise in the field.
This is the third year the course has been offered. Dermendjian expects 25 to 30 participants, although space is still available. Enrollment fees are $200 for professionals and $100 for students and registration can be acquired by calling Dermendjian at (818) 717-5680.
