NEW MEMBERS SELECTED TO DEAN'S COUNCIL

William Hosek, dean of Cal State Northridge's School of Business, recently selected eight business leaders to join the Dean's Council of Business Advisors to provide consultation and guidance as the school continues to develop and evolve. Their expertise covers a wide range of areas in the business community including accounting, entertainment, finance, law and marketing.

The council is organized into three committees: educational programs, business relations and development. These volunteers provide valuable information about current issues facing the community and industry that directly impact the development of curriculum and programs within the Business School, Hosek said.

The six men and two women are: Michael Bessolo, vice president of marketing at Walt Disney Records; Jose A, Castro, program officer for the Bank of America Foundation; Larry Elins, president of Elins Enterprises and Elins Development; Robert Fenton, owner of Fenton and Company taxation and accounting firm; Teresa Mack, an associate at the law firm Keesal, Young and Logan; William Neighbors, vice president and general manager of Digital Theater Systems; Andrea Roschke, president and partner in Plat & Roschke accounting firm; and Matthew Smith, attorney with the law firm Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May.
