Alejandro Martinez Muriel, one of Mexico's leading archaeologists, will show slides of some of his country's latest archaeological explorations, and offer advice on conducting archaeological and anthropological research in his country.
His presentation is expected to begin at 7 p.m. in Room 245 of Sierra Hall on the west side of the campus at 18111 Nordhoff St. in Northridge.
A small reception will precede the presentation at 5:30 p.m. in Room 239 of Sierra Hall.
Martinez's appearance is sponsored by Cal State Northridge's Department of Anthropology, Judge Julian Beck Instructional Development Program, and Office of Graduate Research and International Programs.
