AND THE AWARD GOES TO...

Hard work, dedication and time will pay off for more than 200 Cal State Northridge clubs and organizations when they will be recognized for outstanding achievement throughout the year at an awards ceremony, Wednesday, May 8, at the university.

The Associated Students Awards Recognition Reception will begin at 5 p.m. in the Thousand Oaks room of the University Student Union, located near the center of campus, 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.

Clubs and organizations will be recognized in various categories including: Most Creative Publicity, Fundraiser of the Year, Outstanding Educational Program and Outstanding Organization of the Year.

Advisors will be recognized for their leadership, with one advisor walking away with the Advisor of the Year award.

Also being honored are fifty-eight students who were selected for the 1996 edition of "Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities." Students were selected as national outstanding campus leaders and will be presented with certificates.
