Campus, community members and friends of the university are
invited to the reception, from 4-7p.m. at the University
Club. RSVPs for the reception are still being accepted by e-
mail to academic.affairs@csun.edu or by telephone to
University Relations at (818) 677-5669.
The reception will include a brief program at 5:30 p.m.
hosted by CSUN Provost Louanne Kennedy, who will become
interim president upon Wilson's departure.
Contributions to the president's memory book are still
welcome. Special photographs, notes and mementos are some of
the items that have been collected. Submissions should be
sent to CSUN University Relations as soon as possible.
In lieu of gifts, reception guests are being asked to make a
donation to support CSUN's Presidential Scholars program.
Contributions should be made out to the "CSUN Foundation-BJW
Presidential Scholars Fund" and be mailed to University
Relations, 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge, CA 91330-8275.
Due to the number of guests anticipated, parking will be
available across the street from the University Club, in Lot
P near the Prairie Street School. Directional signs will be
posted and staff will be on hand to assist with parking
needs.
Wilson-CSUN's third president, who has led the campus since
September 1992-is leaving in early June to become the first
president and CEO of the Nellie Mae Foundation. The New
England-based organization works to promote quality education
in that region, particularly for under-served groups.
