@CSUN Publication Schedule for 1997-98

Cal State Northridge's biweekly faculty and staff newspaper, @CSUN, will resume publication according to the schedule below:

Fall '97 Semester	Spring '98 Semester
August 25 (start of classes)	January 26 (start of classes)
September 8	February 9
September 22	February 23
October 6	March 9
October 20	March 23
November 3	April 13
November 17	April 27
December 1	May 11
	May 26 (commencement)

Distribution will continue via campus mail and news racks around the campus.

Event listings

The newspaper will continue to publish:

campus public meetings
notices
events
classes, and
deadlines of interest to university employees.

Submissions must be received in the University Relations office no later than noon on the Monday one week prior to the publication date.

Options for submitting events listings:

via e-mail to pubinfo@exec.csun.edu (the preferred method).
via campus mail to Managing Editor, @CSUN, mail drop 8242.
via fax to Managing Editor, @CSUN, at (818) 677-4937.
via hand-delivery to @CSUN, University Relations, 9528 Etiwanda.

Essential components of a typical event listing:

sponsoring department or group,
general description of the event,
date and time,
location including room number,
contact person and phone number,
any deadline,
RSVP or fee/ticket price amounts (if applicable).

We want to hear from you!

We continue to encourage your suggestions and comments on the newspaper with the goal of making it the most useful and informative publication possible for Cal State Northridge employees. We also encourage suggestions of newsworthy developments on campus that should be published.
