Animation Festival

Thursday, May 7

7-8:30 p.m. "Special Effects in Filmmaking." Professionals behind "Men in Black" and "Lost World:Jurassic Park" screen clips and discuss creating imagery and visual effects. Free

Friday, May 8

7-9 p.m. Animation festival screenings. $5

Saturday, May 9
- 11 a.m.-noon. Animation for children presentation, including the works of the late Disney animator David Hand Sr. Children, $2.50, Adults free
- Noon-2 p.m. Professional animators panel discussion.
- 2-5 p.m. Job fair and exhibitions with animation studios and related vendors. Includes portfolio reviews. Free
- 6-8 p.m. "Anie-Ball." Awards ceremony and celebration of animation. $5
- 8:30-10 p.m. Animation festival screenings. $5

All events are in the Campus Theatre except for the awards ceremony. That location is pending. Tickets available at the USU box office. A special $12.50 ticket covers all events.
