Five women professionals from the new government of Afghanistan are visiting CSUN for a State Department-sponsored two-week training program through the College of Extended Learning. The women are being taught by a team of five staff members from Extended Learning: Simin Bahmanyar, who is overseeing the training program; Matthew Clements, handling English and grant developing skills; Bessie Karras-Lazaris, who is providing assessment; Jim Moran, who is covering computer skills; and Pattie Ridenour, who is covering computer basics and software.
