9/11 Memorial and Moment of Silence

CSUN will observe the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorism tragedy with a ceremony on Oviatt Library quad at noon Wednesday, Sept. 11. President Jolene Koester, Faculty President Michael Neubauer and AS President Josh Lodolo will be the featured speakers. The event is open to the campus community and public.

Also, at 8:46 a.m. Wednesday, the campus will participate in a statewide moment of silence requested by Gov. Gray Davis, coinciding with the moment, East Coast time, at which the first hijacked jetliner struck the World Trade Center.
