Alfonso Ratcliffe (Engineering and Computer Science) received $318,716 from San Francisco State University in continuing support of a project titled "Alliance for Minority Participation."
Edward Carroll and Carol Shubin (Science and Mathematics) received $299,698 from NASA in continuing support of a project titled "Analyzing Data Sets."
Steven Oppenheimer and Virginia Vandergon (Biology), Gerry Simila (Geological Sciences) and Norman Herr (Secondary Education) received $278,294 from the Eisenhower Program of the California Postsecondary Education Commission in support of a project titled "Los Angeles Super-Funded Science Leader Initiative at CSUN."
Nancy Burstein and Sue Sears (Special Education) received $254,872 from the Los Angeles County Office of Education in continuing support of a project titled "California State University, Northridge/Antelope/Santa Clarita Valley SELPA Special Education Intern Program."
S.T. Mau and Karla Johnson-Majedi (Engineering and Computer Science) received $72,114 from UC Berkeley in continuing support of a project titled "MESA Engineering Program (MEP) Center."
Gagik Melikyan (Chemistry) received $50,000 from the American Chemical Society in support of a project titled "Novel Tetrahydrofuran-Mediated Coupling of Cobalt-Complexed Propargyl Alcohols and Cations."
Joshua Rabinowitz (Psychology) received $40,976 from the Anti-Defamation League in support of a project titled "An Evaluation of the Anti-Defamation Leagueıs Stop the Hate Program."
Kathryn Anderson (Financial Aid & Scholarships) received $40,000 from EDFUND in support of a project titled "Debt Management."
Nikki Maxwell (Career Center) received $39,256.20 from AmeriCorps in continuing support of a project titled "AmeriCorps Service Learning for Family Health."
Debra Patterson (Kinesiology) received $37,000 from the Los Angeles County Office of Education in support of a project titled "Los Angeles Academy for Physical Education."
Konstantinos Vrongistinos (Kinesiology) received $28,089 from the California State University, San Bernardino Foundation in support of a project titled, "Evaluating the U.S. Department of Education Grant."
Jerome Seliger (Health Sciences) received $27,461 from Valley Presbyterian Hospital in continuing support of a project titled "Stroke Prevention and Management Project Evaluation Study."
The Oviatt Library received a $21,500 grant from the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation to preserve and make accessible a portion of the historical records from the United Way of Los Angeles Collection.
Stephen Walton, Ana Cadavid and Gary Chapman (Physics and Astronomy) received $17,500 from the National Science Foundation as supplemental support for a project titled "Space Weather: Infrared Diagnostic Development."
Maureen Rubin (Center for Community Service Learning) received $15,182 from the California State University in continuing support of a project titled "Building on a Strong Foundation."
Thomas Hatfield and Owen Seiver (Environmental and Occupational Health) received $15,000 from the Association of Environmental Health Academic Programs in support of a project titled "Enhancing Cultural Diversity of Students in Environmental Health Academic Programs."
Katherine Stevenson (Mathematics) received $13,000 from the National Security Agency in continuing support of a project titled "Covers of Curves and Surfaces."
Cal State Northridge received a $7,500 grant from the Womenıs Sports Foundationıs GoGirlGo Project for its dedication to providing equal access to girls and women in sports and fitness.
