@csun Publication Schedule for '01-'02


Cal State Northridge's biweekly faculty and staff newspaper, @csun, will resume publication according to the schedule below:

August 27 (start of classes) January 28 (start of classes)
September 10February 11
September 24February 25
October 8March 11
October 22April 2
November 5April 15
November 19April 29
December 10May 13
May 28 (commencement)

Submissions must be received in the Public Relations office no later than noon on the Monday one week prior to the publication date.

Distribution will continue via campus mail and news racks around the campus.

Brief listings
The newspaper will continue to publish:

  • campus public meetings
  • notices
  • events
  • classes
  • deadlines of interest to university employees

Options for submitting brief listings:

  • via e-mail to pubinfo@csun.edu (the preferred method)
  • via campus mail to Managing Editor, @csun, mail drop 8242
  • via fax to Managing Editor, @csun, at (818) 677-4909
  • via hand-delivery to @csun, Public Relations, University Hall 110

Essential components of a typical brief listing:

  • sponsoring department or group
  • general description
  • date and time
  • location including room number
  • contact person and phone number
  • deadlines or RSVPs
  • fee/ticket price amounts (if applicable)

We continue to encourage your suggestions and comments on the newspaper, with the goal of making it the most useful and informative publication possible for Cal State Northridge employees. We also encourage suggestions of newsworthy developments on campus that should be publicized.

If you have a suggestion for an article, are not receiving the newspaper or getting it late, have comments on past issues or other concerns, please submit them to Public Relations, @csun, via campus mail drop 8242, via e-mail at pubinfo@exec.csun.edu or telephone (818) 677-2130.
