Charles Hanson and Patti Dengler(Educational Psychology and Counseling)received $336,100 from the Office of Criminal Justice Planning in continuing support of a project titled "Valley Trauma Center."

Alfonso Ratcliffe(College of Engineering and Computer Science)received $280,312 from San Francisco State University in continuing support of a project titled "Alliance for Minority Participation in the K-12 Science Teacher Workforce."

Charles Hanson and Patti Dengler(Educational Psychology and Counseling)received $256,201 from the Office of Criminal Justice Planning in continuing support of a project titled "Northwestern Los Angeles County Rape Crisis Center."

Arlinda Eaton(Elementary Education) and Naomi Bishop(Liberal Studies) received $239,679 from the U.S. Department of Education in support of a project titled "Title II: Teacher Quality Enhancement Grants, Partnership Grants."

Larry Caretto(Engineering and Computer Science), Karla Johnson-Majedi(Educational Equity) and Belinda Acuna (Science and Math Advisement Center) received $220,000 from the National Science Foundation in support of a project titled "CSUN Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics Scholarship (CSEMS) Program."

Deborah Chen(Special Education) received $199,993 from the U.S. Department of Education in continuing support of a project titled "Innovations: Training Service Providers to Work with Infants Who Have Multiple and Low Incidence Disabilities."

Edward Carroll(College of Science and Mathematics), Steven Oppenheimer(Biology) and Gerry Simila(Geological Sciences) received $179,392 from the University of California in support of a project titled "San Fernando Valley Science Project."

Susan Curzon(Library) received $153,298 from the California State Library in support of a project titled "San Fernando Valley History Digital Library."

Audrey Clark(Family Environmental Sciences) received $149,552 from the Administration on Children, Youth and Families in support of a project titled "Head Start Partnerships with Hispanic-Serving Institutions of Higher Education."

Philip Rusche(College of Education) received $128,371 from the Los Angeles Unified School District in continuing support of a project titled "Student Academic Partnership Program."

Carol Koprowski(Family Environmental Sciences) and Sarah Hall(Special Education) received a $125,000 grant from the California Breast Cancer Research Program to develop diet and physical activity assessment tools for adolescent females with disabilities.

Larry Allen(Biology) received $123,618 from the state Department of Fish and Game in continuing support of a project titled "White Sea Bass Sampling."

Steven Oppenheimer(Biology) received $118,099 from the National Science Foundation in continuing support of a project titled "Research Experiences for Biology Teachers."

Nancy Burstein and Sue Sears(Special Education) received $117,500 from the Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools in continuing support of a project titled "California State University, Northridge/Antelope/Santa Clarita Valley SELPA Special Education Intern Program."

Al Sethuraman(Mathematics) received $113,865 from the K.B Chandrasekhar Family Foundation in support of a project titled "Cryptography Research at the AU-KBC Center."

Philip Rusche(College of Education) received $107,367 from Project GRAD- L.A. in continuing support of a project titled "Gear Up-Project GRAD."

Behzad Bavarian(Civil & Manufacturing Engineering) received $100,000 from NASA in support of a project titled "Failure Analysis, Prevention and Reliability Modeling for Sub-Micron Electronics Technology, A Research Partnership of CSUN with JPL/NASA."

Ramin Roosta(Electrical & Computer Engineering) received $100,000 from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in continuing support of a project titled "New Directions for Reliable and Cost-effective Deep Space Microelectronics."

Catherine Dezseran(Theatre) received $100,000 from the University of California in continuing support of a project titled "The Mid-South California Arts Project."

Christine Smith and Janice Eckmier(Secondary Education) received $89,907 from the Los Angeles Unified School District in continuing support of a project titled "CSUN/LAUSD Francis Polytechnic/North Hollywood Cluster Secondary Education Intern Program."

Eugene Turner(Geography) received $88,928 from the Assembly Rules Committee in support of a project titled "California Political District Mapping Project."

Steven Fitzgerald(Computer Science) received $67,537 from the USC Information Sciences Institute in support of a project titled "Support for the MDS Distributed Infrastructure."

Dan Wakelee(CSUN at Channel Islands) and Leslie Smithers(History) received $60,558 from the University of California in support of a project titled "California History/Social Science Subject Matter Project at California State University Northridge at Channel Islands."
