MUSIC ADVISEMENT AT CSUN
The Music Department offers several programs of study which develop technical and musical skills, encourage creativity, and cultivate a vision for the future. The faculty and staff are here to help you succeed throughout your years of instruction. To assist you in selecting a course of study which meets your present academic and future career goals in music, our department has a number of faculty available to help you.

Lea Clará is our undergraduate and 2nd bachelors advisor and Julia Heinen is the graduate advisor for students seeking a Masters Degree. Both advisors can assist you and answer questions regarding admissions, auditions, scholarships, advisement, as well as music department and university policies.

You will also be assigned to a faculty advisor in your field with whom you will meet each semester to plan your course of study. Continuing students are required to meet with their option advisor every semester. We are here to help!
