The California State University, Northridge Music Department
encourages and rewards excellence through a variety of acholarships, awards, and honors.
Scholarships are available for entering first-time freshmen and transfers, and for continuing
California State University, Northridge students. During the academic year, the Music
Department will offer more than $200,000 in scholarships to new and continuing students,
at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
New students are notified of their awards
by letter following their incoming auditions. Continuing student awards are announced at the
Department of Music Annual Awards Convocation held each May.

Continuing students should dowload the Continuing Music Scholarship Application.
All applications must be received by the deadline specified.
