The Music Technology Lab (MTL) is the general purpose music technology laboratory located in Room 238 of the Music Building. As part of their fundamental course requirements, all music majors are required to take at least one music technology class. Classes in the MTL (Music 191, Music 391 and Music 567) cover a wide range of music software and electronic music techniques, including music notation, MIDI sequencing, multimedia, and digital audio. Other available functions are ear-training, word processing, and Internet access.
