Choral Music
Choral music has long been an important part of the Northridge campus. Students graduating from this area have gone on to impressive careers including solo singing, opera, music administration, conducting, and teaching. Each year the choral area sponsors a choral festival featuring the top high school and college choral groups in the state.
Choral ensembles on the California State University, Northridge campus have distinguished themselves for more than 30 years with excellent performances at state and national festivals and conferences, as well as featured performances throughout Europe and Russia. Students performing in the three choral ensembles are provided a solid foundation in choral education, and are exposed to the wide array of musical genres.
