In TV and film Rob has worked on Star Trek, Jag, Party of Five, Fish Police and many films including the jazz score of "Dillinger" with Charlie Haden.
As an educator Rob's goals are to have the student "find his or her voice" through transcriptions and development of vocabulary in addition to preparation for the demands and reality of making a living in the music business. He has taught for over 20 years in New York, New Orleans, Austin and Los Angeles. "Teaching gives me the chance to learn with the students and keeps me honest as a player. I am grateful for the opportunity."
