There are a number of alternatives to get comparative financial data on individual companies and some industry averages, including:

• Many volumes in library reference room - including S&P, Moody's, ValueLine, Robert Morris Associates
• Brokerage web sites (if you or associates have an account with one)
• Individual company web sites (often limited to current data, although annual reports often give historical comparisons)
• Reports filed with the SEC on Edgar
• (The CSU system no longer subscribes to the AMSPEC databases due to drastic price increases)
• A very useful and extensive set of links for financial and government information (much broader than comparative financial statements) is available.
