GRADUATE STUDENT SUPPORT

Teaching Associate and Graduate Assistant are awarded on the basis of evaluations of recommendations, grade point average, and individual course grades and background. The number of positions available each semester depends upon the amount of funding available. An assistant who performs satisfactorily will have priority in competing for positions in the next semester. However, a graduate student who has held assistantships for six semesters ordinarily will not be eligible for further positions.
