Samantha Fields earned her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and her MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. In 1998, she was awarded the College Art Association Professional Development Fellowship. Her work, which deals with mansí desire to control nature, has been exhibited locally and nationally in such venues as the Jones Center for Contemporary Art, Lemberg Gallery, POST Gallery, Mount St. Marys College, and DiRT Gallery. She lives and works in downtown Los Angeles.
