Syllabus Schedule

Final paper assignment (Posted November 11, 2011)

The final paper assignment is now available on moodle. As promised in class on November 9, new questions have been added to the assignment posted earlier in the week. That is the only change in the substance of the assignment. (The only other change is in the format of the schedule. All due dates and instructions remain the same.)

Change in a reading assignment (Posted November 8, 2011)

The reading selection assigned for November 16 and 21 has been replaced by “Laws of Nature” by Fred Dretske. The schedule web page and printer-friendly schedule have been updated to show this change. Both specify the journal information you will need in order to download this article.

Schedule revised again (Posted October 30, 2011)

The revised schedule promised last week has now been posted. Both the schedule web page and the printer-friendly version have been updated. The URLs remain the same, so old schedule links, including those above the announcements on this page, will take you to to the revised schedule.

Schedule revised (Posted September 22, 2011)

In class and email this week, it was announced that there would be changes in the schedule of writing assignments. The revised course schedule showing those changes has been posted.
