Calculus for the Life Sciences by Schreiber, Smith, and Getz.

Exams and Grading

There are three midterms, each worth 20%, and a final exam, worth 40% of the course grade. Homework is 10%. The final exam will be a common final, which is scheduled for Tuesday, December 12, from 12:45 to 2:45. Plus or minus grades are possible.

Homework

Homework will online using WileyPLUS. A license will need to be bought unless the student purchases a new copy of the textbook, which includes the WileyPLUS license.

Laboratory

Students who enter the course on a conditionally qualified basis must enroll in the laboratory section assigned to this section of Math 255A. The lab meets each Friday at 12:30 - 1:45 in BH304. Furthermore, all students are encouraged to enroll in the lab.

Calculators

Students will need to use a graphing calculator at times for homework and exams.
