Jennifer Romack received her doctoral degree in Human Performance from Indiana University, Bloomington, with an emphasis in motor behavior. She is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Cal Stae University Northridge (CSUN). Before receiving her doctorate in 1995, Dr. Romack was a credentialed elementary physical education teacher in Kentucky. She received a Master of Science from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Kentucky University.
Dr. Romack is a strong advocate of student engagement in the learning process. She has authored articles related to student learning, as well as presented locally, regionally, and nationally. Since 2000, Dr. Romack has supervised over 1300 undergraduate kinesiology majors in community service-learning projects. She has served as CSUN’s Director of Community Service-Leanring, and received the 2006 CSUN Faculty Award for Visionary Community Service-Learning. Dr. Romack oversees research and instruction conducted in the Motor Development Lab.
