CSUN and Moorpark students have been asked to practice web research by searching for a topic of their choice, then narrowing down to five representative websites for an annotated list which includes an evaluation of the websites' content and usability as well as an evaluation of the usefulness of the material on the website.
After the annotated bibliography is completed, write an introductory paragraph to explain the context for the annotated bibliography.
Use Craig Branham's website A Student's Guide to Research with the WWW for help with searching and evaluating web resources.
Please follow Janice Walker's Online Citation format, specifically this example.
Searching for and compiling resources will help you discover more about your topic and will help you organize the information in order to present your project and write your last paper. You will not use all the resources from your annotated bibliography. Most will use 2-3 sources, depending on the quality of your findings and the focus of your paper. Check the research paper assignment for parameters. You must include your annotated bibliography as part of the final research collection.
English 113-A and English MO2 will be assigned a specific research area for the assignment.
Grading: points are deducted for the following missing or incorrect work.
