Dina Mireles
I had the privelage of meeting and interviewing Dina Mireles, one of my fellow
classmates in my English I C class. Before enrolling ar Moorpark College, Dina
graduated from Cleveland High School in the San Fernando Valley. While she balances a
full load of units this semester, she adds also to the mix two jobs and a strong
commitment to her friends and family. Dina works at a gift shop during the week and as
well as a counselor's assistant and a bilingual translater at an elementary school. Her
ambition for success enables Dina to effectively maintain a balance of the important
priorities in her life. Dina loves to talk on the phone with her friends when the time
permits. That I believe because she loves to talk and laugh. Dina's current goals
concerning school are to achieve her general education credits then transfer to an out
of state school where she would like to major in psychology. Dina wants to transfer out
of state so she can gain a sense of independence and because she loves to explore and
discover new places. While residing in her Agoura Hills home, Dina has one dog, a
Pomeranian, and one cat. She loves spending her free time watching movie classics such
as The Goonies. When Dina goes grocery shopping, she always picks plastic bags rather
than paper because she fears the paper bags will break on the way out to her car. Her
favorite color is red and prefers red meat to white and Coke to Pepsi. Right on! She
loves to come back home after a long day of juggling classes and work to kick off her
size seven and a half shoes, fire ip a huge pot of black coffee, and whip up a bowl of
past marinara. It was a privelage and a pleasure.
