Descriptive Writing

Working with an image or object of your choice (from the movie, videos or an advertisement), create a word picture so that readers experience that object / image with as many senses as possible.

Before writing:
First list a number of images/objects that you find interesting or that you have a strong response to. Use heuristics strategies:

to generate as many connections to the object as you can. Work toward discovering enough details for a satisfying, well-developed word picture.

The purpose of this description is to assist your reader in seeing and experiencing your object as you do. Stick to only sense data of the image/object. This is not a an essay or a summary, so omit any names or outside references like historical data, background, or context: this should be only description. The final version should be no more than one page, double spaced.
