The Friends support library programs, services, and cultural events. Programs which instill excitement and love of reading in patrons of all ages are given priority.

General Meetings: First Saturday of Each Month**
9:30 am in the Granada Hills Library's Community Room
(*Except July and August of each year)

Next Used Book Sale:
All childrens’, young adult, cookbooks, and paperbacks will be 25 cents and all hardcover books will be 50 cents.

Information and Policy for Donations to Granada Hills Branch Library:



Donations must be books and materials (CD audiobooks, DVD movies) in EXCELLENT condition. Take them to the Reference Desk at the Granada Hills Branch Library during regular business hours. You will be given a blank receipt for your own evaluation. Please note that the Library does not place a value on donated materials.

The Library may include some of the donated materials in the Library's collection. If not, then the Library will determine if the materials are suitable for the Friends of the Library to sell at a Book Sale. Some materials may be recycled or just given away free to the public.

Please do not leave donated books and materials anywhere at the doorstep or exterior of the Library building.

Not accepted: encyclopedias, materials in poor condition.
