Automated DNA Synthesis The DNA synthesis facility is funded by the Department of Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry. This facility serves the University of Pittsburgh research community and occupies 840 sq.ft of lab space in room 241 in the Center for Biotechnology and Bioengineering. Synthesis Prices: $1.00 per base ( no set-up fees) for University of Pittsburgh Research Community only. You must include a valid University of Pittsburgh (32 digit) Account Number on the Order Form before your order can be processed.
