The California State University, Northridge Speech and Debate team is a full-service intercollegiate forensics program. The team offers competition in the following events:

• Cross-examination, team policy debate
• Platform speaking, including informative, persuasive, and communication analysis.
• Limited preparation speaking, including impromptu and extemporaneous.
• Oral interpretations, including prose, poetry, duo, and program of oral interpretation.

Participants receive coaching for competitions from an extremely talented and well-trained coaching staff.

Welcome to the Spring Semester of 2007! This semester we will be hosting a Debate Intramural on April 28th and a Public Speaking Intramural on May 11th.

CSUN was proud to host the CSUN High School Invitational on December 2-3, 2006. As well as the CSUN Intramural on December 8th , 2006 from 2-6pm. Congratulations to all of our competitors!

And a big Thank You! to everyone who attended and competed in our College Invitational and made it such a great tournament. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
